We had the Yard Sale for my mother last weekend. The weather did not cooperate for us, but the important thing is that the clutter is gone!
I hope it all finds a happy home!
If we continue to go through the motions, micromanaging every part of our lives, we will forget to take time to soak up all the little enjoyments life has to offer.

Just think about how much junk we set free. I wonder if this could be turned into a recycling book for children...maybe a cautionary tale about western consumerism. Hmmm, let me think....
I think that is a great idea. Although, I'm not sure how interested children would be.
Yikes! I'm such a scavenger -- I found myself holding the laptop screen up to the end of the nose, squinting at the goods just in case I might be able to spot a treasure for me in all of that!
Woohoo for having the clutter gone! You're right, that is the important thing.
Hi Rachel...thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes, I love you've got mail, too. Wouldn't it be fun to have a little "Shop Around the Corner" in NYC? :)
These pictures look like my garage and closets. I need to do the same thing. Hopefully, the weather will bring here soon in our favor. This is the first visit to your blog and I hope to return soon. Likewise I hope you will visit mine soon and enjoy also. Have a great week and we'll catch you later.
:-)
